Last Person Standing?

Last Person Standing (or "survivor") is the simplest way to run a footy competition amongst your friends.

The concept couldn't be easier: select one team each gameweek that you think will win. If your team wins, you progress to the next gameweek — if your team loses or draws, you're out!

It sounds simple, but there's real strategy involved: you can't choose the same team more than once, so you'll need to plan your picks carefully.

  1. 1

    Pick one team each gameweek

Before the first match of the gameweek kicks off, choose a Premier League team you think will win.

  2. 2

    Win and you survive

If your team wins, you're through to the next gameweek. A draw or a loss and you're out.

  3. 3

You can't pick the same team twice

Each team can only be used once across your first 20 picks, so you'll need to think ahead — burn the big clubs too early and the run-in gets scary.

  4. 4

    Last one standing wins

The game carries on, gameweek after gameweek, until only one player is left alive.
